Bruce Adam
Bruce Adam was born in Chicago. After graduating from Northern Illinois University with honors, he moved to Nantes, France where he taught and continued his studies. Returning to the US, he worked ten years in publishing before turning his attention to completing his own work. He has published a number of volumes of short stories: Dreams of a Lifetime, The Voyage of a Bean, The Long Beat of the Metronome, Master of the Squirting Flower and The Sunlit Clearing in addition to one novel, Innoou, and a book of Senryu poems, Crossing the Mind. He also edited In Search of Gold, a journal kept during the gold rush by his great-great grandfather, John Fisk, and published by Ara Pacis Publishers. Bruce Adam makes his home near Chicago.
